KeymasterCommon reasons Why students Fail Waec: The National examination board in Nigeria has come out to say that student performance in the National examination is dropping tremendously when compared to other countries outside Nigeria. it was recorded that mass failure in the 2019 West African Senior School Certificate Examination [WASSCE] for private candidates held in January.

Head of WAEC’s Nigeria National Office Isaac Adenipekun said last week that out of 12,202 candidates that registered for the examination, 11,892 sat for it but only 3,102 candidates or 26.08 percent obtained credit and above in a minimum of five subjects including English Language and General Mathematics.
